Producer for over 12 years, Kourtney Gleason has crafted both features and episodic in scripted and documentary. She’s produced such films as Becoming Bond (Hulu + SXSW Audience Award 2017) Periodical (Peacock Original + SXSW Documentary 2023) HollywoodDarlings Season 2 (Pop Network, Co-EP, Writer & Producer) Agua Donkeys + The Coop (Funny or Die + Roku). Kourtney’s projects garnered recognition and awards, including an MTV Moonman for producing 21 Pilots’ “Heathens” music video, which won Best Rock Video in 2017. Films she produced, such as “Becoming Bond” (dir. Josh Greenbaum) and “Jellywolf” (dir. Alma Har’el), received acclaim and accolades at SXSW and the Clio Awards, respectively. Her most recent endeavor, the queer narrative musical “YOUTOPIA,” earned an Honorable Mention for North American Narrative Feature at Outfest 2022.

Kourtney’s approach to filmmaking is character-driven, fueled by her philosophical understanding of the human condition and its interplay with environment, trauma, and neurodivergence. She believes that building a world and a character collaboratively is what makes for compelling storytelling. The themes closest to her heart include Queer Stories, Women’s strength, reflecting her commitment to diverse voices.
